About Me

I am a medical oncologist who specializes in treating cancers arising in the head and neck region. I received my medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, India and completed my internal medicine residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. More recently, I completed my fellowship in hematology and oncology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

My approach to cancer care is to partner with my patients at each step in their journey and provide them with information from the latest research to help guide their decisions. My research is focused on outcomes and toxicity in patients with head and neck cancer. In particular, I’m interested in identifying biomarkers in cancer cells to tailor the care of an individual patient.

In addition to my clinical work, I’m also an assistant professor in the Department of Medical Oncology and a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association and American Society of Clinical Oncology.

I enjoy the collaborative work culture at the OSUCCC – James and the ability to offer patients access to the latest promising medications through clinical trials. It’s truly a privilege to be part of a multidisciplinary treatment team that’s working together to achieve our goal of a cancer-free world.

I asked about my chronic cough but never really received an answer on that

I drove hour and a half for a five minute visit. I did have another appointment the same day thankfully because I would have been upset if I drove all that way for a 5 minute visit with the doctor to be told everything looks good.
