Many Americans face an unhealthy future because of poor lifestyle decisions. I want to help them do better. Implementing lifestyle changes in addition to medication beats medication alone.
My biggest professional accomplishments are when patients do well.
As a family doctor, I do not specialize in one area. But I'm fascinated by the challenge of implementing cardiovascular disease prevention and finding better ways of communicating medical information in ways patients understand.
What I enjoy the most about working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is the quality of the doctors and their ethical conscience.

American Board of Family Medicine
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/25/2016, Dr. Sinsheimer has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies.
