About Me
As a family medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in osteopathic manipulative medicine, integrative medicine, preventive and primary care. I am passionate about seeking health in my patients, optimizing function, and partnering with my patients in their journey to becoming their best selves. I strive to empower my patients to take charge of their health. I utilize a broad array of treatment modalities including osteopathic manipulative treatment, needling, and mind-body practices.
In my role as a medical educator, I enjoy sharing and developing my passion through teaching and learning alongside medical students and resident physicians. I share my passion for family medicine with my peers and community through service on the Central Ohio Academy of Family Physicians and the Ohio Academy of Family Physicians Foundation.
I love spending time with my lovely wife, our young son, and our English bulldog puppy. I enjoy cooking, reading, hiking, and self-educating on Renaissance and Reformation history.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/01/2020, Dr. Sheikh has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Very on top of my overall health--I was very impressed that he knew of a recent illness that was treated by OSU when he walked through the door. He is a credit to OSU.
All good.
He's super!
He is very nice, kind and knowledgeable. Very skillful as well.
Very knowledgeable, passionate about his work, clear explanations.
Dr. Sheikh had very little concern for me as a person. He talked about rules and regulations more than anything, repeatedly stating his concern over his medical license, for some reason. I was very disappointed in the "care" Dr. Sheikh provided. I will be changing my primary care provider with OSU, or I will be moving to another practice.
Dr has great skills, valuable advice
Very happy w/provider. Drive longer than I'd like to see him because I'm so happy w/his approach.
patient and thorough. i trust him extremely well
Dr. Sheikh is a great provider; very knowledgeable, thorough, and concerned with my son's health.
