About Me
As a nurse practitioner working in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, I focus on helping patients improve their quality of life. Our patients have various functional impairments, often due to stroke, injury or other disabling conditions. Helping them overcome their current deficits is both challenging and rewarding. I am constantly impressed by how strong and resilient our patients and their families can be when faced with traumatic events.
I am fortunate and proud to work with an outstanding multidisciplinary team. Our physicians, therapists and entire staff are committed to helping our patients through any means possible. By combining teaching, research and clinical care, we promote and provide the highest level of health care possible.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy connecting with my community by participating in a neighborhood book club, yoga and other community events.

Excellent listening & teaching.
She's awesome always listens and helps me with problems I'm having
Very good.
We talk & she re did the meds & I see her in a year.
Susan is amazing. She spends as much time with me as I have questions, whether they are about Botox I'm getting or any other issues. I wish every doctor could be as caring and thorough as she is.
She was great! She greeted me when she walked in and spent time going through all my questions/symptoms. She was very thorough and had a refreshing energy for my injury.
Extremely knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable about my TBI and psychiatry needs moving forward
She was very passionate about my care plan and made sure I was aware of everything to get to my goal of my own care plans.
I didn't rushed or like a number in line. She made sure that I understand my treatment. Thank you!
So knowledgeable and understanding. Took the time to listen and answer all my questions and concerns!
Always good!
Amazing doctor, one of the best visits I have ever had.
Very good.
Very thorough & thoughtful.
Excellent!
Susan B.B. is consistently superior consistently delivers above standard care and advice, demonstrates exceptional listening school. Your billing is clunky but the medical service is first rate!
I have nothing bad to say. I actually look forward to my appointments with Susan. She is always peaceful, attentive, caring and joyful. And KIND. I see many doctors because of my disability. Some are dismissive by Susan never is. She treats me like a person. When I am with her I don't feel less than (some doctors do this. Thank you Susan. Love.
Very knowledgeable, respectable, soft spoken, very caring.
Great at listening, explaining options, seemed like they actually care and paid attention.
