About Me

I specialize in primary care sports medicine, which focuses on providing care for a wide range of musculoskeletal issues in patients of all ages. These include acute sports injuries, overuse injuries and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.

I believe in providing individualized care to each patient or athlete and I encourage him or her to be a part of the decision making process. I am passionate about what I do because I understand how frustrating it is to be unable to do the things you enjoy. Whether you are a competitive athlete or simply trying to maintain an active lifestyle, my goal is to get you back to your sport or activity as quickly and safely as possible.

He was kind, considerate, very interested in my problem. Showed me results of x-rays and explained what they showed was happening. Had suggestions as to how I can help at home as well as Physical Therapy. Took his time and didn't appear to rush through anything.

He was very thorough in diagnosing the problem, explaining the treatment, and then treating the problem. Excellent "bedside" manner!

Dr. Kitchin was very friendly. The problem is I felt he didn't listen to me. My knee is still very much bothering me and I'll probably end up going elsewhere to try to find out what's wrong with it.

Very helpful, quick and easy to understand.
