Mastering Swimming Instructional lap swimming program for recreation, fitness, and training

Mastering Swimming is a group lap swimming program structured much like a swim team practice with a focus on improving technique as much as fitness. The program is open to experts and beginners of all ages (over 14) interested in improving their swimming for fitness, competitive training, or fun!  All participants should have a basic knowledge of the freestyle (front crawl), and be able to swim at least 200 yards continuously.

Cost is $160 per 4 week session, renewing the first of every month. Participants reserve 2 days per week.  Each day is limited to four participants so every swimmer can receive individual coaching with every workout.

Sessions run:
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6- 7:00 p.m and 7-8:00 p.m
- Wednesdays from 12-1:00 p.m
- Saturdays from 10-11:00 a.m

Safe Splash Swim lessons for kids at the Heit Center

At SafeSplash, we understand...swimming is a life skill®. Giving your child the opportunity to learn from passionate instructors that provide individual attention in the best facilities, sets them up for an outstanding experience. That is the SafeSplash Way®.

At SafeSplash Columbus, we know that the life skill of swimming can also turn into a passion. Our coaches are highly experienced and professional, thanks to the guidance of the Ohio State Head Swim Coach, Bill Wadley. He and his team are driven to provide each swimmer with the highest quality swim instruction. With Coach Wadley’s 32 years of coaching experience and SafeSplash’s record of teaching over three million lessons, your swimmer is bound to excel through our technique based coaches clinics.
  • Classes are once a week for 30 minutes; Levels one through eight are offered
  • Classes have a maximum of four swimmers to one instructor for group classes
  • Special needs classes available as a private or semi-private
  • Classes are billed monthly
  • Classes run continuously. There are no sessions, so you don't have to re-enroll every month
  • Register for two or more classes per week and receive a 10% discount

 

Please note: Children cannot utilize the locker rooms at this facility.  There are changing tents provided in the pool area, as well as rest rooms in the lobby.

Private Swim Lessons and Coaching

Whether you're looking to learn to swim, improve your form for fitness, or drop time in your next triathlon, private training is the fastest way to address your swimming goals. Private lessons and coaching are offered in packages of five 30-minute lessons for $150. Personal training packages may also be applied to swimming for more custom options.
