FNH occurs mainly in women ages 20-30. These tumors have no symptoms.
FNH is generally discovered during imaging tests for other conditions.
No treatment is necessary, unless they are very large. In rare cases, the doctor may recommend surgical removal to avoid the risk of rupture.
