Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency

KingRachel

Rachel King, PT, DPT

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Marquette University in May 2016. At Marquette, Rachel was a teaching assistant for anatomy and physiology courses, worked for Youth Empowered to Succeed, a fitness and mentoring program for at-risk middle schoolers, and served as co-director of Marquette University’s pro bono physical therapy clinic, which united volunteer students and alumni to meet the needs of the uninsured in the Milwaukee community. Rachel was honored to receive Marquette’s research award for her gait analysis research presented to the Wisconsin Physical Therapy Association (WPTA).

KasmarTessa

Tessa Kasmar, PT, DPT

Tessa received her Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology and Spanish for the Health Professions and graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in May 2016 from Marquette University. While at Marquette, she was a sports medicine intern with the Milwaukee Ballet and founded the Dance Medicine Clinic and Journal Club through Marquette’s on-campus physical therapy clinic. Attaining a competitive internship as a PT student with the Washington Ballet in D.C. allowed her to gain more experience working with this specialized population. Upon graduating, Tessa received Magna Cum Laude honors, the Research Award and the Daniel Strelnick Award for Clinical Excellence.
