NUsurface® Meniscus Implant
The NUsurface Meniscus Implant is a Polycarbonate-Urethane (PCU)-based device reinforced with high tensile Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibers as a treatment alternative for patients with persistent knee pain following meniscus surgery. This multi-center, prospective, randomized, interventional clinical study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the NUsurface device compared to the standard of care for patients whose medial meniscus may have had tears or degeneration requiring medical or surgical treatment.
Joint load reduction for medial compartment osteoarthritis
This trial seeks to provide pain relief for patients with medial compartment knee osteoarthritis. Our surgeons implant the Atlas System, an implantable joint unloader that works like a shock absorber. The system absorbs some of the joint load rather than transfer load to otherwise healthy areas of the joint, while also maintaining the integrity of the joint's natural anatomy.
Stem Cell Injections
This clinical investigation is evaluating the safety and efficacy of ReNu™ knee injection on patients with moderate osteoarthritis. The ReNu™ injection consists of a mixture of allogeneic, human amniotic fluid derived stem cells and morselized human amnion for the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis.
