5 things you should know about spider veins
If you have small, reddish-blue squiggly lines around your nose or on your legs, you probably have spider veins.
Edema is the swelling caused by fluid in your body's tissues. It usually occurs in the feet, ankles and legs, but it can involve your entire body.
To keep swelling down, you may be recommended to keep your legs raised when sitting, wear support stockings, limit how much salt you eat or take a medicine called a diuretic, also called a water pill.
