Education: I received my Certificate of Massage Therapy from Columbus State Community College and was licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board to practice massage in 2014.  Subsequently, I gained my certification in cupping through the International Cupping Therapy Association. Also, I am a Nuad Boran, or Thai Yoga Massage, practitioner since 2014; educated through the Vedic Conservatory. Prior to my massage career, I received a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and French from Otterbein University.

Background: While working on my certificate to be a massage therapist, I selected specialties that both have personal meaning to me and have creatively expanded my therapy “tool belt.” Both cupping and Thai yoga massage have not only helped me overcome my own significant, past injuries; they have built upon my knowledge of trigger point therapy and given me fresh techniques and insights into how bodies heal. I have practiced massage in spa, chiropractic, yoga studio, and private settings. In addition to cupping and Thai massage, I have received training in craniosacral therapy from the Upledger Institute.

Hobbies: I have practiced yoga for seven years and became a certified, 200 hour yoga instructor in 2018.  Since then, I’ve regularly taught power yoga classes and Thai Yoga Massage workshops. I like to draw, paint, make jewelry, watch music videos, listen to all sorts of music, see movies and gaze at beautiful scenery (especially in Paris). My down time is often spent around my two Shiba Inu’s, who are extremely cute and fluffy.
