When you come to The Ohio State University Heart and Vascular Center, this is exactly what you’ll receive. Since the center encompasses both the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital and the Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute, physicians work alongside scientists in true collaboration, safely incorporating the latest life-altering biomedical discoveries into treatment plans to provide the highest quality care.

Our Heart and Vascular Center in Columbus, Ohio, is proud to offer world-class care for heart conditions at multiple locations. The Ross Heart Hospital is a 150-bed facility, with each floor dedicated to a specific service, such as cardiac surgery or heart failure. In addition, Ohio State has a variety of convenient outpatient locations where you can receive excellent care close to where you live and work.

For some services you may need a referral from your primary care doctor for you to become a patient.

Our multidisciplinary team of heart and vascular experts will take the time to get to know you, your medical history, and your current health status and needs. We will then work with you and your primary care doctor to create a cardiac care plan that is appropriate for your condition and suits your lifestyle needs. If you are wondering if you need to see a heart and vascular doctor, you can read more here.
