Dr. Miranda is a seasoned Medical Device executive with extensive domestic and international experience in marketing, medical and clinical affairs. He has created and managed processes for postmarket clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies (IISs), voice of the customer input into new product development, and health economics and reimbursement. He has worked to enhance evidence-based medicine (EBM); IVD and medical device product development; global clinical trial management; and KOL management and development in the fields of osteoporosis, electrophysiology (EP), ophtalmology and diabetes.
He has directed clinical claims and accuracy studies globally during the product development process, conducted studies that provided clinical evidence/outcomes and directed the automation initiative to manage investigator-initiated studies through a web portal. He has created strategies for several international markets as well as Medical Advisory Boards for the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Latin America.
Dr. Miranda has been a thought leader for the Frost & Sullivan Mind X-change and Q1 Productions. He is currently the Clinical Leader for the GE & NFL Clinical Collaboration and the Chief Medical Officer for Head Health for GE Healthcare, located in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
