Albert Timperman, MD
As director of the Comprehensive Spine Center, Albert Timperman, MD, leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing patients with long-term successful outcomes that contributes to an improved quality of life. Timperman's team provides integral leadership in national clinical trials and research that contributes to improved care for all. They also educate and train young clinicians in advanced diagnoses and neurosurgical and non-surgical treatments for a wide variety of spinal conditions.
Safdar Khan, MD
Safdar Khan, MD, specializes in complex spinal surgery, helping patients with scoliosis and spinal stenosis using spine fusion therapy. He also performs reconstructive surgeries for patients with severe spine damage due to an accident or chronic condition. His research interests include tri-planar osteotomy, stem cell research and total disk replacement for adult and pediatric spinal deformities. Khan and colleague Elizabeth Yu work with William Marras, director of the Ohio State Spine Research Institute, to use engineering principles in the development of diagnostic tools to treat patients with lower spine disorders.

Julia Rose EdD, PA-C
I am a certified physician assistant for the Comprehensive Spine Center in Orthopedic Spine Surgery. I have extensive clinical and surgical experience in adult spine surgery; cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine; herniated discs; spinal stenosis; degenerative scoliosis; spondylolisthesis; kyphosis; and fractures. I perform new patient evaluations, pre- and post-operative care, first-assist in surgery and counseling on preventive health care.
