Ohio State’s neurological surgery residency program is part of Ohio State's multidisciplinary Neurological Institute, which encompasses our Neurosurgery, Neurology, Psychiatry, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Neuroscience departments.

Our seven-year Neurosurgery residency program gives residents cross-specialty surgical and clinical skills within a premier academic environment. In addition to collaborative, patient-focused expertise, our residents develop the skills, judgment and professionalism they need to excel in the practice of neurosurgery.

Residents gain progressive responsibility including pre-operative and postoperative patient care, clinical care and operative skills including gamma knife procedures, endovascular and skull base surgery, complex spine and pediatric neurosurgery.
