Help us provide a healthy environment for our patients, visitors and employees by adhering to our tobacco-free policy. Smoking, or the use of other tobacco products, is prohibited at all medical center locations, including inside of buildings, outside of buildings, in parking areas and in green spaces. This policy applies to all faculty, staff, students, patients and visitors.

In 2006, Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center was the first hospital in the Columbus area to launch a tobacco-free policy. As an academic medical center, it is critical that we provide a healthy environment for our patients, visitors, faculty and staff.

In 2014, The Ohio State University adopted a tobacco free policy for all members of Buckeye Nation.
