Experience and Interests
Dr. Carlozzo is a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist, and her clinical interests include all types of acquired brain injury. She is currently on the stroke team at Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital, but has also had 2 years of experience floating to work with patients on all services. Her interest in specializing in neurologic physical therapy began when she worked at Dodd during physical therapy school as a safety care associate for patients with traumatic brain injury.
Additionally, Alison is very interested in clinical education and international service. She is an APTA certified clinical instructor and a faculty member for the Ohio State DPT program's service learning trip to Merida, Mexico, where she has provided pro bono PT services to geriatric, orthopedic, and pediatric populations.
