Experience and Interests
Megan is currently an occupational neurological fellow at Ohio State because of her interests in working with individuals with neurologic disorders. Prior to the neurological fellowship, Megan completed a clinical rotation at Martha Morehouse on the Outpatient Spinal Cord Injury team. She then went to work at the Nevada Community Enrichment Program specializing in treating TBI, stroke and spinal cord injury in an outpatient and inpatient setting, before returning to Ohio State.
Through her clinical experiences, Megan is beginning her career specializing in treating patients with spinal cord injuries, stroke and brain injuries. Her clinical interests include splinting and Kinesio Taping of the upper extremities, functional electrical stimulation of the upper extremities and wheelchair seating and positioning. She is a 200-hour registered yoga teacher, and in Nevada taught adaptive yoga classes. Her current research focuses on occupational therapy and adaptive sports.
