We're excited to launch our program and introduce our first fellow.

Tessa Kasmar, PT, DPT

Tessa received her Bachelor of Science in exercise physiology and Spanish for the Health Professions and graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in May 2016 from Marquette University. While at Marquette, she was a sports medicine intern with the Milwaukee Ballet and founded the Dance Medicine Clinic and Journal Club through Marquette’s on-campus physical therapy clinic. Attaining a competitive internship as a PT student with the Washington Ballet in D.C. allowed her to gain more experience working with this specialized population. Upon graduating, Tessa pursued an Orthopaedic Residency program at Ohio State and is excited to continue her work with the performing arts population as the country's very first Performing Arts Fellow-in-Training.
