Mike came from East Carolina University after finishing his Master’s in exercise science – biomechanics in 2010, and has since been the lab manager for the Movement Analysis and Performance program. In addition to his research responsibilities in data collection and processing, manuscript writing and presentations, Mike is also a part-time Ph.D. student in the Health and Rehabilitation Sciences program. He has been involved in multiple projects working with a variety of athletes and other clinical populations, with specific focus on the biomechanics relating to performance and injury in baseball and softball, athletic performance and golf swing performance. Mike is currently a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, American Society of Biomechanics and National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Mike serves as a mentor to METRO high school students in the "Bodies" program, a yearlong STEM early college experience that integrates biomedical technologies and college coursework to promote student interest, growth and development.Education
