Experience and Interests
Dan is a dedicated physical therapist with a strong belief in the power of exercise as medicine for sports and orthopedic injuries. He emphasizes patient independence, ensuring that each individual is equipped with a personalized home program before discharge to foster long-term self-management and recovery.
His passion for sports medicine began as an undergraduate while competing on Ohio State’s club rugby team. There, he gained firsthand experience working with physical therapists in a competitive sports setting and developed an interest in return-to-sport decision-making. This foundation informs his individualized approach to coaching athletes through rehabilitation and back to peak performance.
Dan is also certified in dry needling, which he incorporates into care plans for patients experiencing musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction.
Outside the clinic, Dan enjoys spending quality time with his wife, son, and dog. He also loves mountaineering and exploring National Parks during his travels.
