Experience and Interests
Mike has a long history of clinical experience treating various orthopedic and sports-related injuries and conditions. He has a particular interest in return to sport programs for athletes of all sports and all levels. Mike utilizes his training in the Functional Movement Screen and Selective Functional Movement Assessment to design and implement individual and group screening, rehab and injury prevention programs.
Mike also has a special interest as a clinical, academic and post-professional lecturer on various topics, including the diagnosis and treatment of peripheral nerve injuries, as well as golf performance and golf medicine. His past research interests include outcome studies for patients following ACL reconstruction and rotator cuff repair.
He carries additional certifications in functional dry needling, as a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness Instructor (Level 2 Medical) and as an APTA-credentialed clinical instructor.
