Ohio State Rheumatology

in Outpatient Care East

Ohio State’s rheumatology infusion suite serves patients with arthritis, osteoporosis, gastroinestinal, dermatologic and pulmonary conditions that require intravenous infusions. A patient care representative will help schedule and verify insurance coverage for the patient. Registered nurses administer and monitor the patient during the infusion procedure. An attending physician is always present in the clinic to oversee the infusions. Examples of medications currently being infused include:

  • Influximab (Remicade)
  • Rituximab (Rituxan)
  • Abatacept (Orencia)
  • Tocilizumab (Actemra)
  • Ibandronate sodium (Boniva)
  • Zolendronic acid (Reclast)
