Excellence in Quality Patient Care

Superior performance. High quality. Safe. Efficient. Patient Centered. The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has again been recognized as one of the top-performing academic medical centers in the nation and has won the University HealthSystem Consortium’s Bernard A. Birnbaum, MD, Quality Leadership Award.

This marks the third consecutive year that Ohio State Wexner Medical Center has been honored with this quality award. We also earned top 10 rankings in three of six quality measures: mortality, efficiency and equity.

We continue to achieve successes such as this because of our high-performing, dedicated care teams who continuously focus on increasing efficiencies and value, while providing patients with the highest quality of care.
