Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/29/2023, Dr. Rajpal has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
All excellent
Attentive to Molly's cardiac care.
Good
He is amazing, he listens and even called me after the appointment when I forgot to ask a question so I messaged him in my chart.
Good listener and friendly
I'm very comfortable with this provider. I trust him with my care.
Doctor was great
Clearly knew what he was talking about and made it east to understand. Asked pertinent questions and gave good advice.
Dr. Rajpal is a great listener and has a great diagnosis ability based on data.
Very good.
Very helpful, eye contact, explained the condition and a plan to follow.
Dr. Rajpal covered all my test results and my long term health.
Very good
When I was discussing family planning with Dr. Rajpal, I told him I had decided to get my tubes tied due to my condition + the repeal of Roe v. Wade. His response was to state "Did they repeal contraceptives as well?" in a sarcastic tone. I was very taken aback by this statement. This was an extremely difficult decision for me, as I have always wanted children, and growing up my cardiologists had always told me I could go through pregnancy without much difficulty. Since I've started seeing him, Dr. Rajpal has been discouraging me from getting pregnant. I was very hurt and disappointed by his response. I was hoping he would be sympathetic to my decision, and offer to provide support in the form of a letter or something to my OBGYN. Instead he did neither of those things, but responded with sarcasm, belitting me and this important life decision. These appointments are always very stressful, just because so many tests need to be done while I'm here, but previously I've always looked forward to speaking with my cardiologist because they are the only people who really understand and believe in my condition. Sadly that was not my experience with Dr. Rajpal this time. I felt belittled and very disrespected by his response to this medical concern.
Everyone was very good!
Always gives advice. Answers any questions I have.
Dr. Listened to me. He explained test results and reasons for increasing dosage of one of my medications.
After a few days of reviewing results on MyChart, I came up with several questions; sent Dr. Rajpal a message. He took time to not only read my questions, but he called within minutes to address my additional concerns.
