As a podiatrist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in foot and ankle ailments and injuries, and my interests include wound care, reconstructive surgery and sports medicine.
I strive to provide my patients with individualized care that is specific to both their needs and expectations in order to optimize their health and recovery. I sincerely enjoy the impact that I am able to make in my patients’ lives. It is gratifying to see great results and know that I am helping to improve someone’s quality of life.
What I enjoy most about working here at Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center is the team approach that we use to provide patient care.
I like to spend my free time enjoying the outdoors and relaxing with my family.

Professional and considerate
I had accepted an appt with this provider only days before. I was on a wait list to see podiatry ASAP. My appt was for 9:15 am. A medical student came in to see me first. The Dr was ready to come in while the student was still in there. The Dr opted to not come in at that time. I then sat and waited on the Dr until 10:23 to come back. He came in hurriedly asked me a few questions, had me stand to see my feet. I had to ask him what I could do to help with the pain I have in my feet. Topical analgesics, exercises, wraps? He showed me a couple of stretches. He then said that I would have to contact my ins to see if orthotics were covered. He gave me an orthotics prescription that had been filled out before he even came in to see me. His part of the visit seemed rushed. I didn't feel like he was really hearing what my complaints were. I felt rushed and didn't get to ask all of my questions about the foot pain I'm having. I left the appt not feeling really heard or hopeful of feeling any better.
My doctor, Dr Anthony, was also amazing. He provided a care plan and advise for my medical questions

The doctor was well-briefed (by the nurse) and was focused on my specific foot issues which we discussed. He trimmed my toenails and examined my feet, which he thought were in good shape.

Dr. Anthony is top drawer. He always gets me in when I need to see him. He responded to a followup email I sent him in less than 24 hours. He is so knowledgeable and always can quickly figure out what's going on, even when it's something unusual. I love his philosophy to keep patients active. He is a careful listener and good at explaining things. He is also reassuring and he very good at having a calm and reassuring demeanor. I have complete confidence in him and his advice.

He is caring and very concerned. I had surgery by one of Dr. Anthony's former partners and I was quite concerned that I had an infection and was not healing well, but after an intense exam, he assured my that everything was good and totally on schedule!

I did not get an explained to as to why therapy was being scheduled. Will this help my foot heal? Is it taking a long time for my foot to heal? Will my foot heal correctly or not? Will the brace help my foot heal? What is the reasoning behind the back and forth treatment of the brace, then the shoe, now back to a brace?

Dr. Anthony is awesome! I needed to get in right away, emailed him via MyChart, and he responded within 24 hours and got me in. He took his time, and really knew what he was doing. He is kind and reassuring. He listens. He thinks outside the box. I had an unusual occurrence with a toenail, but he had experience with it and knew what to do. He personifies what health care should be all about.

My provider used acronyms & sped through my time with him making it seem like I was asking stupid questions. He also did not introduce himself.
Doc was great. Wish he would have explained about acid put on my foot more. It made me not able to walk for 3 days & 6 days limping! A warming would have been nice.

Upon looking at my foot he assumed my foot being FRACTURED. Put me in a boot, said my orthotics inside my shoe was not adequate, right away wanted me to get fitted with new orthotics, which I already had for the last 12 years from another foot DOCTOR.
