About Me
I’m passionate about helping patients live healthier lives. Every patient is important to me and deserves to be treated as a friend, family member or trusted companion. I listen to my patients, help them accomplish their goals safely and advocate for them at every step. At our appointments, I help patients optimize their health for a safe pregnancy, preventing pregnancy or screening for gynecologic cancers or concerns. I’ll also help patients transition through menopause and improve their sexual health to help promote healthy relationships and families.
Teaching is one of the cornerstones of medicine. Through my academic roles at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, I have a direct hand in teaching the next generation of physicians to become compassionate healers and leaders. I teach on various topics — from improving the quality of health care, reducing health care disparities, female sexual problems, abnormal bleeding, menopause, contraception and more. I’m also a coach for the Advanced Health Systems Science Program, teaching medical students how to make our health care system better with quality improvement projects, team building and more. In addition, I’m the program director for the Learning Communities Program, which pairs medical students with faculty to help them make the professional transition into excellent physicians.
I’m excited to continue my research efforts at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I’ve already written a research paper that made headlines in newspapers around the world, describing the effects of hormonal contraception on mental health. I’m also publishing papers on female sexual problems, helping patients quit smoking, teaching professionalism to medical students and more. Plus, I recently received a large grant from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) to study why people are hesitant to take vaccines and better understand how the immune system reacts to immunizations in pregnancy.
I spend my free time with family, including my wife and four children. I enjoy reading a good book, exercising and cooking healthy meals for my family.

Dr. Worly was so great. He's the best gynecologist I've ever been to and seemed to deeply understand pelvic pain and dysfunction. I think his technique with the Pap smear is superior to anyone else's. I'll go to him until he retires or leaves.

Dr. Worley is always a consummate professional. He goes over how I'm feeling generally as well as what's happening in the check-up I'm there for and is sympathetic and caring. I am extremely happy with him.
Dr. Worly was knowledgeable, cared about my issues and gave me many options. He talked quickly so it was hard to process for me at times but the PCP had gone over some of these options too so I was able to retain it all. They're a good team and it's a great set up.

Dr. Worly has been my provider for about 10 years. He has the best bedside manner and you can tell he genuinely cares for his patients. He is going to make a difference in this world!
He was very condescending and dismissive. He ran through my exam and basically offered me surgery to try and find out what was wrong with me because he didn't know. He didn't adhere to my request to not have the student doctor in the room. Worst visit ever and I drove 2.5 hours for horrible service
Dr. Worly is a very kind man and I have no doubt he is a very capable provider. However I don't feel like he gives me his professional opinion on specific concerns I have. Based on my past pregnancy and delivery, I had a difficult time and I don't feel like he understands or hears my concerns for this current pregnancy. He gives statistics and just really leaves it at that. I feel rushed out a lot of the time there Isnt much of a connection, but I know it is a very busy practice.
I think he is the BEST. Takes all the time I might need to answer questions or share his opinion or give advice.
