Ohio State’s Center for Wellness and Prevention is located at the Martha Morehouse Medical Plaza. It is central Ohio’s first and most comprehensive medically managed prevention and wellness center. The Center houses a number of services including a fitness center, weight management services, consultation before and after bariatric (weight loss) surgery, exercise stress testing, and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.

Ohio State’s Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation program offers Phase 2 and maintenance programs. Phase 2 includes in-depth education about heart disease risk factors and counseling on lifestyle changes, as well as a supervised exercise program. After completing Phase 2, participants may enter the maintenance program, offering an organized exercise regimen and continued staff support. The Comprehensive Weight Management Program offers surgical and non-surgical support for weight loss and management. Non-surgical programs include Living Well, Healthy Living and LEARN. The Fitness Center provides exercise equipment, fitness classes and personal training. A warm-water therapeutic pool is available. Staff members are trained in CPR, and an automated external defibrillator (AED) is on site. Experts are available to answer questions and provide guidance and encouragement while exercising. Equipment includes:

- Recumbent bicycles
- Rowing machines
- Free weights
- Weight-training machines

Regaining skills can improve quality of life for people with various types of lung disease, ranging from asthma and bronchitis to emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Our specialists guide patients through the recovery process. Directions and Parking
Martha Morehouse Medical Plaza is conveniently located just west of the Ohio State campus.
Free surface-lot parking for patients in designated spaces.
Valet parking will be offered to all patients and visitors who are going to either the Pavilion or Tower. The cost is $3, and hours of operation are Mon.-Fri. 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. A valet attendant will be available Mon.-Thurs. until 8 p.m. to retrieve vehicles after valet closes.
A free shuttle provides transportation between the The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the plaza every 20 minutes. The shuttle picks up and drops off at the entrance of both the pavilion and goes to University Hospital and Ross Heart Hospital.
