About Me
As an orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty in sports medicine and shoulder surgery, I perform the most advanced surgical techniques of the shoulder and elbow. I use nonoperative treatments whenever possible and use surgery when it is the best option for the patient and their shoulder problem. I specialize in arthroscopic surgery including rotator cuff repair and labral repair as well as anatomic and reverse shoulder replacement and revision surgery.
In order to provide individualized care to each patient, I begin by listening to their unique problems and goals. I aim to help patients understand their orthopedic conditions and work with them to choose the best treatment to help them return to their activities. I’m passionate about helping people of all ages and backgrounds regain their quality of life and return to the activities they love.
Working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center allows me to provide cutting-edge clinical care to patients. I take pride in collaborating with a team of sports medicine experts and participating in clinical research that improves treatments for our patients. I also enjoy serving as a team physician for high school, collegiate and professional athletes, including the Columbus Clippers (AAA affiliate of Cleveland Indians).
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as running, skiing, baseball, and hiking.

^Dr. Cvetanovich has worked with me to heal my shoulder following surgery. It's been a long process and I am happy that he understands my concerns and explains things clearly.
I have seen my doctor for a year and a half about this issue and he makes sure to review what we've done and the result from previous visits and then what is going on now and what we need to do to try and make it the most comfortable for me in the future.
