Kelli Barnes, PharmD, BCACP is a clinical pharmacist at The Ohio State University Division of General Internal Medicine clinics. She received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Ohio Northern University and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Cincinnati. She then completed a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency and PGY2 ambulatory care residency at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy and is a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Specialist. Kelli provides innovative patient-centered care including comprehensive medication reviews for patients seen in an innovative polypharmacy clinic, diabetes management for patients with uncontrolled diabetes, and anticoagulation management as part of an interdisciplinary team. She also provides transitional care management and population health management for complex patients. In addition to this patient care, Kelli’s research interests include the use of population health to improve the quality and cost of care provided in a primary care setting and the sustainability of pharmacist-provided care in primary care settings.
