Prier-BethBeth Prier, PharmD, MS, CPHIMS, is an associate director in the Department of Pharmacy, and is responsible for the Pharmacy Informatics Team. She graduated from Ohio Northern University with her PharmD. She completed a two-year combined PGY1 residency and Master of Health-System Pharmacy Administration program, with her practice site at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio and didactic work at The Ohio State University.

During her almost 13 years at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Beth has implemented multiple clinical systems and automation and grown the pharmacy informatics team to support medication management-related workflows health-system wide. To accomplish her work she engages with multiple teams in the medical center's Information Technology Department, and other clinical and business departments across the enterprise. Beth established and is the residency program director for the PGY2 – Pharmacy Informatics Residency at Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center.

She is an active member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and most recently served as the director-at-large for the Section of Pharmacy Informatics and Technology.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys spending time with her four children and husband, as well as cooking healthy meals and staying active.
