Primary Professional Areas of Interest & Research Focus
Dr. James A. Oñate is an Associate Professor at The Ohio State University in the College of Medicine’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. He is the Director of the Division of Athletic Training education program, as well as being a member of the Human Performance Collaborative and Jameson Crane Sports Medicine Institute. His main research focus is developing human movement and performance science that bridges the gap across research to clinical systems to allow for evidence-based outcomes for aiding individuals to sustain optimal health and performance throughout their careers and lives.
