I’m a neurologist.
My patient care philosophy is pretty straightforward. I treat every patient the same, whether it’s the first patient I see in the day or the last one.
I chose to go into neurology because of the variety of complaints and unusual problems that people with neurological conditions could have. By working with the patient, we can typically find a solution for whatever the problem is.
Neurology is interesting to me because it’s a field that’s advancing and will continue to advance throughout my career.
I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the positive atmosphere and team environment within each department. I also like being involved with advanced research.

Focus was on diagnosing seizures, other symptoms prior to we're not addressed in a sufficient enough manner, or how they could or could not relate to seizures, or how they might differentiate
He listened to my questions and answered them completely.

Dr. Mindel was thinking the way I was. I'm glad he didn't rush me into a sleep study because at this time it wouldn't make sense.

He was thoughtful, remembered the fact that I have a dog for example, and knowable, was able to address my questions and concerns with a judgmental attitude.
I feel he is the only provider in the past year with the exception of my PCP to listen and hear my concerns to come to an actual diagnosis and plan. Explained everything well to me. I left feeling that I have answers and will feel better soon.
