Experience and Interests

Kelly is an occupational therapist who works primarily with individuals suffering with mental illness and neurocognitive deficits. She spent the beginning of her career in an inpatient forensic psychiatric setting in Cincinnati. She also has experience in the outpatient setting, treating adults with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological conditions. She is enthusiastic about continuing to expand her knowledge base with continuing education, developing new programs and advocating for the importance and benefit of OT in mental health.

Her clinical interests include PTSD, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, sensory self-regulation interventions and promoting occupation-based interventions to elicit improved motivation in preparation for return to home environment. She is passionate about mental health and enjoys helping her patients progress to achieve their goals. In her free time, Kelly enjoys hanging out with her dog Khia, hiking, cycling and traveling.
