Experience and Interests
While Shelby has experience as an occupational therapist in several settings, her true passion is in acute care rehabilitation. Over the years at Ohio State, Shelby has worked in several specialty areas: PCU, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, general cardiovascular, general medicine, neurovascular, orthopedic surgery and neurosurgery. She truly enjoys working with neurological patients. Shelby’s goal as an occupational therapist is to aid in each patient’s recovery and ultimate ability to participate in meaningful occupations in the most independent manner despite certain deficits/diagnoses.
