Experience and Interests

Erin is originally from West Fargo, North Dakota. While moving to the Columbus area for physical therapy school, she started working part time as an Athletic Trainer for a local hospital. Her athletic training and physical therapy experiences have given her a broad range of understanding for those active individuals of all ages (pediatrics athletes, high school adolescents, and active older adults). Her clinical interests include injury prevention, on-field injury management, return to sport/activity, and optimizing biomechanical performance of activities. Some of the most common injuries she treats are knee related injuries (ACL, PCL, meniscus repairs), Achilles repairs, and shoulder injuries. Erin has a passion for encouraging and assisting patient’s in returning to their activities but also building habits that will keep them active long after they have returned to their activities. Outside of physical therapy, Erin enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, hunting, playing various sports and board games, and spending time with her dogs and cats.
