Experience and Interests

Sarah graduated from Urbana University with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic training then perused her doctorate in physical therapy from Ohio University where she graduated in 2008. She has been employed as a Sports Medicine physical therapist with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center since 2010. Sarah is a level I and advanced APTA credentialed clinical instructor. Sarah is also a Sports Certified Specialist by the APTA, as well as, a Certified Wellness Coach. Professionally Sarah enjoys writing and has authored publications in Journal of Orthopedic Sports Physical Therapy, Sports Biomechanics, and the Lower Extremity Review. Her clinical interests include lower extremity biomechanics, endurance medicine, manual therapy, and ACL prevention/rehabilitation. Sarah is a member and the Education Coordinator for the Sports Medicine Endurance Medicine Team and performs gait analysis, as well as, bike fits. Sarah enjoys working with athletes of all ages and levels of competition.
