The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute is the third largest cancer hospital in the country. As the patient-care component of Ohio State’s cancer program, The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute is a transformational facility that integrates scientific research, education and innovative care for you.

The OSUCCC – James has more than 200 oncologists, each of whom specializes in just one type of cancer. That expert subspecialization leads to more productive integration with cancer research and, ultimately, to better outcomes.

We manage hundreds of active or pending cancer clinical trials, many of which are initiated by OSUCCC – James investigators, some of which are only available at The James. Our genetic- and molecular-based research helps us understand your unique cancer to develop and deliver the most effective targeted therapy that leads to better outcomes, fewer side effects and more hope.

Parking Information

The new Wexner Medical Center Garage is now open. To accommodate patients and visitors parking in the new garage and wanting to go to The James, there is The James Parking Shuttle, which operates continuously 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The shuttle’s short route includes a stop at The James and the north and south ends of the Wexner Medical Center Garage.

For those patients and visitors parking in the garage and wanting to visit other Wexner Medical Center facilities, the existing Patient Courtesy Shuttle remains available. 

All patients and visitors parking in a medical center garage can take their garage ticket to any information desk or patient registration for validation and a reduced rate of $3 per day.
