Vizient has accepted an abstract on the Ross Heart Hospital’s Extracorporeal Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (ECPR) program with the Columbus Division of Fire for presentation at the Vizient Fall Connections Summit in Las Vegas. “Increasing Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest Survival” was authored by Dixie Lee Davenport, BSN, RN, CEN, Level One Heart and Vascular Emergencies program manager; Sheila Chucta, DNP, APRN-CNS, CCRN, clinical nurse specialist for Central Quality and Education; and Melinda Hazlett, BSN, RN, NE-BC, manager of the Cath Lab. The three will present at the Cardiovascular Roundtable as well as participate in a panel discussion on extracorporeal membrane oxygenation at the September conference. Thanks to Columbus Division of Fire for their partnership in this program.
