The world of human genetics is one of challenges and possibilities. Genetic disorders—whether single gene, chromosomal or inherited—offer clinicians, researchers and scientists a host of opportunities for clinical practice, research activity and educational advancement.

The Division of Human Genetics offers outpatient and inpatient consultation services, performs clinical and translational research and participates in community education and outreach. Our physicians and faculty collaborate with colleagues throughout our medical center and world. Our Genetic Counseling Graduate Program addresses the fast growing need for genetics professionals.
