Excellence in education, patient care and research

The Division of Rheumatology and Immunology offers a dynamic environment of academic excellence, high quality patient care and robust research activity. Our clinicians see a diverse spectrum of clinical disorders ranging from osteoarthritis, vasculities, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis and immunodeficiency to bursitis.

The division offers a productive learning environment for clinicians seeking a career in clinical and academic rheumatology. Basic science and clinical research experience are integral components of the fellowship training program. Faculty and clinicians in the division participate in active research programs in immunology and molecular genetics related to immunoregulation, receptors for Fc molecules and herparin binding growth factors.
