Interior and Exterior Informational and Wayfinding Signage

Requests for signage should be directed to Facilities Planning using OneSource eServices via a facilities project request. Facilities Planning will review the request, confer with other appropriate departments (possibly including the university's architect office) and if the request is approved, determine the appropriate format, size, location and placement of the signage.

Facilities Planning will also make sure that the signage complies with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center signage standards and wayfinding guidelines and any applicable laws and regulations. Depending on the project, Facilities Planning will also seek authorization from the university's architect office for t

Temporary Signage Graphics or Exhibits

Requests for notices, posters, temporary graphics, exhibits or other items that are publicly visible should be directed to the Marketing and Strategic Communications Team via Brand@osumc.edu. These items must be approved in advance.

Marketing and Strategic Communications will review the request and confer with any other appropriate departments.

Temporary Signage or graphics may be removed at the discretion of an Administrator, Safety and Compliance or Security personnel during the course of routine rounds if the item lacks approval; violates policy; is out of date or inaccurate; violates brand standards; or is a threat to the safety of others.
