Go to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) tool
You will need to log in using your last name.# to access the DAM. If you are an Ohio State University Physicians (OSUP) employee, email websupport@osu.edu to request access to the DAM.
Under the "Saved Searches" toolbar, click on “Wexner Medical Center Photograph” to access photographs and other marketing downloads and templates.
Photography consent
We must receive authorization from individuals to release/publish their photo and their personal health information. The individual photographed must complete and submit a media consent form.

Photography release requirements
- If your photo is of a large group of students, then a photo release is not required.
- If you photograph students individually for specific marketing purposes, have them sign a photo release.
- Photos including minors should have photo releases signed by their parent or legal guardian. If a minor is simply part of a general population image, it is not necessary.
- Patients must grant permission with a signed release and coordinated with the Wexner Medical Center marketing team to ensure HIPAA requirements are met.
- Animal patients (the animal itself) do not require photo releases unless the owner is included in the photo. It is a general courtesy to request permission when using an individual pet image and/or identify the animal by name.

Corporate photo sessions
All faculty and staff of the Wexner Medical Center, OSUCCC – James and health science colleges are encouraged to get a free, corporate portrait taken at designated monthly times. Physicians and advanced practice providers are required to have a portrait for their Central Physician Database (CPD) profile, but any staff member can take advantage of these sessions for their personal or professional needs. Photos are shot on a first-come, first-served basis and no appointment is needed.
Lab coats are preferred. Please bring your medical center ID badge. A link to the final digital photograph will be provided.

Hiring a photographer
The Wexner Medical Center works with outside vendor photographers to capture the many activities, events and day-to-day experiences happening on and off our campuses. Only approved vendors may be hired to take pictures for Wexner Medical Center. We have pre-approved freelance photographers available for your event or department photography needs (such as group or team photos). You will need to supply your cost center information to the selected photographer for billing purposes.
