Lauren Miller, MD, MBA, has joined the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine as a head and neck surgical oncologist. She specializes in treating patients with disorders of the head and neck region, with a focus on microvascular reconstruction for patients who received head and neck cancer ablation.
Dr. Miller will also participate in the Center for the Advancement of Team Science, Analytics, and Systems Thinking in Health Services and Implementation Science Research (CATALYST) Program. She plans to continue her health services-based research on methods to optimize cancer care delivery for head and neck cancer patients. Dr. Miller has over 50 peer-reviewed publications in journals including JAMA Surgery, Head & Neck, and JAMA Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.

Dr. Miller completed her fellowship training in head and neck surgical oncology with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She completed her residency in otolaryngology — head and neck surgery in Boston through a combined program at Harvard Medical School, Mass Eye and Ear and Mass General Brigham. Dr. Miller earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and her MBA from the The Wharton School in Philadelphia.
