Faculty Disclosures
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies when a faculty member’s expertise can advance the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities. A program has been established to review these disclosures in order to manage any actual or perceived clinical conflicts of interest with medical device, research and/or drug companies.
If you have an interest in knowing whether a faculty member has any relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies, this information is now publicly available through The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s website through our Find a Doctor tool.
