John J. Warner, MD, leads the vision, strategy and operating performance of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s research, education and patient care mission across its hospitals, outpatient care centers, nationally ranked College of Medicine and research institutes. A national leader in academic medicine, he’s dedicated to improving health care quality, safety and experience by putting patients and their families first.

Jay Anderson

Jay Anderson is responsible for leading the execution of the vision, strategy and overall performance for all clinical enterprise operations – including all seven hospitals, as well as the ambulatory services division. He is an established health system leader with significant experience in performance improvement, quality and operations.

An internationally recognized head and neck cancer researcher, surgeon and leader in academic medicine, Dr. Carol R. Bradford became the dean of The Ohio State University College of Medicine and vice president for Health Sciences at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2020. She is also the Leslie H. and Abigail S. Wexner Dean’s Chair in Medicine and a professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.

Vincent Tammaro

Vincent Tammaro joined the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center as CFO and vice president for health sciences in August 2022. Vincent’s responsible for overseeing finance, treasury, IT, data analytics, revenue cycle, supply chain, the OSU Health Plan and related areas. He’s also responsible for financial and control activities across the Wexner Medical Center and supports strategic and financial planning, including long-range business planning and financial goal setting in support of the medical center’s patient care, education and research missions.

Andrew Thomas, MD, MBA, FACP

Senior Associate Vice President for Health Sciences
Dr. Andrew Thomas serves as the Wolfe Foundation Chief Clinical Officer for the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. He is responsible for all patient care services and medical staff administration. Previously, Dr. Thomas served as medical director of University Hospital and associate dean for Graduate Medical Education. He has been involved in university projects including the implementation of electronic health records, root cause analysis for safety events, patient satisfaction, clinical efficiency, simulation training, professionalism and physician health.

Matthew Albers, JD

Matthew Albers serves as key legal counsel for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the academic health enterprise. He is a key member of the senior leadership teams for the Office of Legal Affairs and the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Matthew provides enterprisewide legal guidance on issues related to the academic health enterprise, including business ventures, health care services, scientific research and discovery as well as medical education.

Frank Aucremanne, PE, MSCE, CHFM

Frank Aucremanne works with senior leaders of the university and the medical center to ensure that space assignment, maintenance, planning, design, development and renovations are collaborative and well-integrated among all academic, research and clinic spaces in the medical center, the Ohio State Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute and our seven health science colleges.

Tom Bentley, MS, BSN, FHIMSS

Tom Bentley is the chief information and digital transformation officer for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, responsible for health care information technology. Tom began his career with the medical center in 1994 as an analyst. In the 29 years since, he’s been instrumental in the development and implementation of the medical center’s electronic medical record system.

Dr. Dan Clinchot oversees undergraduate and graduate medical education programs, continuing medical education and graduate and research education (collaboratively with the vice dean for Research), as well as educational programs in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences and educational centers and offices, including Diversity and Inclusion, Medical Education, Student Life, Curriculum and Scholarship, Geriatrics and Interprofessional Aging Studies and the Clinical Skills Education and Assessment Center.

Dr. David Cohn became interim CEO of the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute in July 2022. He has served as chief medical officer at The James since 2018. Dr. Cohn is a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Gynecologic Oncology and holds the Stuart M. Sloan – Larry J. Copeland, MD, Chair in Gynecologic Oncology in the College of Medicine. Since joining Ohio State in 2001, he has maintained a clinical practice that includes both medical and surgical treatment of gynecologic cancers.

Jennifer Dauer
Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
As chief strategy and transformation officer, Jennifer Dauer is responsible for driving all aspects of strategy for the organization as well as structuring strategic affiliations, mergers, acquisitions and partnerships. She identifies and pursues new growth and business development opportunities for the health system and the health science colleges, drives partnership discussions with key internal and external stakeholders and facilitates discussions across the health system and the university that encourage collaboration with each other and across multiple parties.

Dennis Delisle, ScD, FACHE

As executive director, Dennis Delisle is responsible for ensuring the operational success of the hospitals and their seamless integration into the health system, guided by the overall medical center’s strategic plan and its specific priorities for talent and culture, health and well-being and resource stewardship. He holds certifications as a Lean Master, Six Sigma Black Belt, Change Agent and Project Management Professional. He’s also a trained Baldrige Examiner through Pennsylvania’s performance excellence program and is credentialed as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Chyke Doubeni, MD, MPH

Associate Director for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center
Dr. Chyke Doubeni joined the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center as chief health equity officer July 1, 2022. He also serves in The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center as associate director for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. At the Wexner Medical Center, he brings together the diversity, equity and inclusion, anti-racism and civic and community engagement efforts. Under his leadership, we will develop new and enhance existing clinical programs and care delivery mechanisms, as well as community engagement and outreach programs, to equitably improve health outcomes in the communities we serve.

Considered an international expert in voice and swallowing disorders, Dr. Arick Forrest was named vice dean of Clinical Affairs and president of The Ohio State University Physicians, Inc. (OSUP) in 2017 and medical director of Ambulatory Services for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in 2011. He is also president of the Faculty Group Practice. Dr. Forrest co-established the Voice and Swallowing Disorders Clinic at Ohio State in 1994.

Skip Hidlay is chief communications and marketing officer for the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, the James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute and the seven health science colleges, responsible for internal communications, external marketing, digital content, media relations and public relations. A brand marketing and communications strategist, Skip has more than 20 years of experience as an executive leader in health care and the media.

Mary Howard, DNP, RN
Executive Director, East Hospital
Mary Howard was named executive director of East Hospital in October 2017. Prior to this appointment, she was associate executive director and associate chief nursing officer at East Hospital and has been part of the senior leadership team at East Hospital since 2007. She previously was a director of nursing at University Hospital for four years. She came to Ohio State from Ohio Health where she was chief nursing officer for Grant Hospital. Mary earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from The Ohio State University College of Nursing.

Kris Kipp is the executive director of Clinical Services at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. Kris has more than 30 years in nursing and clinical operations leadership, including critical care and emergency/trauma.

Dan Like, MHA
Chief Administrative Officer, Ambulatory Services
With The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center since 2000, Dan Like, MHA, was named chief administrative officer of Ambulatory Services in 2020. Prior to that, he was executive director of Ambulatory Services since 2008 after serving as business manager of Information Technology and director of Strategic Planning and Business Development. He leads the operations and further growth and development of Ohio State’s Ambulatory Services that includes more than 50 physical locations around the greater central Ohio area, totaling more than one million square feet, with 1.7 million outpatient visits per year.

Amanda Lucas, MEd, MBA

Amanda Lucas is executive director of Clinical Operations for the Ohio State Neurological Institute and executive director of Ohio State Harding Hospital. In these roles, she oversees all of the administrative aspects of the core neurological clinical areas (Neurology, Neurological Surgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Psychiatry and Behavioral Health) across the hospitals (Brain and Spine Hospital, Harding Hospital, Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital and Talbot Addiction Medicine) that serve patients in our neurological service line and the associated multidisciplinary clinics including stroke, spine and related neurological conditions.

Leon McDougle, MD, MPH

Associate Dean for Diversity and Inclusion
Dr. Leon McDougle is professor of Family Medicine with tenure and the Wexner Medical Center’s first chief diversity officer. He directs several workforce diversity programs including the MEDPATH Postbaccalaureate Program. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States. He provides service for the Association of American Medical Colleges as faculty for the Healthcare Executive Diversity and Inclusion Certificate Program, Minority Faculty Leadership Seminar.

Stephanie Milburn

Stephanie Milburn leads the development and advancement of the public policy agenda for the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, The James and the health science colleges. After serving for 10 years as director of Government Affairs at the Wexner Medical Center, Stephanie became associate vice president of Government Affairs in November 2021. Stephanie previously held multiple positions in federal and state government.

Peter Mohler, PhD

As chief scientific officer, Dr. Peter Mohler leads all research operations across the medical center, which includes research strategy, operations, space and facilities, research finances, compliance and research initiatives. He also directs the teams that generate and disseminate best practices for interdisciplinary research and innovation across our health science enterprise. With Ohio State since 2011, Dr. Mohler researches the mechanisms underlying abnormal heart rhythms and heart failure in children and young adults with the goal of designing new therapies for diseases at the level of the individual and the population.

Andrea Pfeifle, EdD, PT, FNAP
Associate Vice Chancellor for Interprofessional Practice and Education
Dr. Andrea Pfeifle is Ohio State’s first associate vice chancellor for Interprofessional Practice and Education for our seven health science colleges and the Wexner Medical Center. She has an impressive and extensive career in education, working to advance interprofessional education and teaching collaborative practice models across medical and health science education programs for more than 25 years.

Raphael Pollock, MD, PhD
Director, The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center
Dr. Raphael Pollock is an internationally renowned cancer surgeon with more than three decades of experience as a research scientist. He joined the Department of Surgery at Ohio State in 2013 after being recruited from MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he had worked for 31 years. At Ohio State he has held several important positions, including vice chair for clinical affairs in the Department of Surgery, director of the Division of Surgical Oncology, director of the Sarcoma Research Laboratory, surgeon-in-chief for the OSUCCC and surgeon-in-chief for The Ohio State University Health Care System. He was appointed director of the OSUCCC in November 2017.

Elizabeth Seely, MHA, FACHE

As chief administrative officer for the Hospital Division of the Ohio State Health System, Elizabeth Seely focuses on the operational success of University Hospital, East Hospital, Ross Heart Hospital, Harding Hospital, the Brain and Spine Hospital and Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital. She was executive director of East Hospital from 2007 to October 2017. Previous to that, Elizabeth served for 16 years at University Hospital in various leadership positions including associate executive director. She earned her MHA from The Ohio State University.

Sarah Sherer joined the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in January 2023. With more than 20 years of human resources experience, she’s spent the majority of her HR career in health care and within academic medicine.

Rachit Thariani
Chief Administrative Officer, Post-Acute and Home-Based Care Division
Rachit Thariani provides strategic and operational leadership for the home and post-acute care division, a key element of Ohio State’s overall health platform. He oversees a portfolio of programs and services designed created to build a better continuum of care that meets people where they are so that Ohio State can provide a more convenient and accessible health care experience that’s also more personal and connected. With Ohio State since 2004, Rachit has served as chief population health officer, interim chief strategy officer and chief planning officer for the Wexner Medical Center.

Susan White, PhD, RHIA, CHDA
Chief Analytics Officer, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
Dr. Susan White became the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center’s first chief analytics officer in January 2020. In this role, Dr. White leads a team that serves as a central point for gathering and interpreting data, and then works to make sure that employees across the medical center can access the right data at the right time and use it to drive the right decisions. She’s had a robust career in data analytics, data governance and quality measurement.
