
P’Elizabeth became the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center’s associate vice president of Space and Facility Planning in March 2025.
Most recently serving as the director of planning and community development for the city of Grandview Heights, P’Elizabeth has a proven record of guiding transformational projects. Previously, as a practicing architect and certified planner, she was instrumental in developing high-performing teams and interfacing with diverse stakeholder constituencies and partner organizations to plan and deliver forward-focused capital projects serving health care systems across the region and nationally, as well as right here at Ohio State.
As associate vice president of Space and Facility Planning, P’Elizabeth seeks to align the built environment with the mission of the medical center, supporting patients and their families, clinicians and staff by providing safe, uplifting and nurturing environments of care. Partnering across the organization, she leads a dedicated team focused on medical center facility planning, development and fit-out, supporting ongoing operations and strategic goals through the growth of, investment in and care for medical center facilities and physical environments.
She brings to the team more than 30 years of experience and expertise in strategic and physical planning for higher education and health care institutions, urban planning, public sector capital project delivery, economic development and organizational leadership and management. P’Elizabeth has also been actively involved in public and community service, serving on various boards and committees. As adjunct faculty, she also enjoyed mentoring future generations of health care architects in the Elliot Master of Healthcare Design Program at Kent State University.
A true Buckeye, P’Elizabeth holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture and a master’s degree in communication from Ohio State.
