The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center offers several outpatient lab test sites conveniently located throughout central Ohio. Most Ohio State laboratory sites are located within our larger, multispecialty outpatient care centers, making blood work/lab testing available in the same place that you see your Ohio State health care provider.
Routine lab and blood testing services require a referral from your health care provider. You can get out-of-pocket estimates or download our patient pricing lists (the amount billed to your insurance company) for many laboratory tests.

How to find laboratory test results
The fastest way to access your test results is through a MyChart account. Sign up for MyChart online or by downloading the Ohio State MyHealth app and clicking on the MyChart icon. Otherwise, a staff member will contact you with your test results via phone.
Test results are released immediately in MyChart unless you have specifically requested otherwise, or if there is a concern for your physical harm with the immediate release of the result. It is therefore possible that you may see your results before your provider. Your provider will contact you if further discussion is needed and you should contact him or her if you have questions or concerns about your test results.
Insurance and payment
The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center accepts a wide range of insurance plans, and financial assistance also is available. Before scheduling your lab work, always check with your insurance carrier to determine your policy’s benefits and any pre-visit requirements.
