Physician-to-Physician Consults Through Ohio State’s Physician-to-Physician Consult Line, you have immediate access to our physicians and specialists 24/7 for questions and guidance.
Interoperability Initiatives We offer our provider network interoperability options to exchange and utilize patient information.
We have implemented and participate in these initiatives:
- CliniSync – Ohio’s health information exchange
- Carequality – Network-to-network trust framework that allows providers to securely share data
- eHealth Exchange/The Sequoia Project – A rapidly growing community of exchange partners who share information under a common trust framework
- Direct Exchange Communications – Securely transmit messages containing patient information
Ohio State also has the ability to integrate directly with these vendor EMRs:

- eClinicalWorks
- Cerner
Ohio State can send and receive radiology, cardiology or other images using Nuance PowerShare Network.
