Bringing her passion for the community to emergency care
Trishena Jones, MD, emergency medicine physician
I love working with some of the brightest minds in the field of medicine and being able to share my knowledge and experience with our future health care professionals.
For Trishena Jones, MD, working as an emergency medicine physician at Ohio State Outpatient Care Dublin is an extension of her commitment and care for the community.
“I’ve always had a passion for serving others. Emergency medicine gives me the opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care for all people, especially those who are most vulnerable in our society,” she says.
Dr. Jones, a clinical assistant professor in The Ohio State University College of Medicine, appreciates working with some of the brightest minds in medicine and being able to share her knowledge and experience with future health care professionals.
“I enjoy being able to provide patients with the highest quality of care using a multidisciplinary approach. There is no ‘one size fits all’ plan in medicine and Ohio State understands this,” she says. “Having a team of health care professionals to address the physical, spiritual and mental health needs of the community is tantamount to health and wellness.”
Dr. Jones always maintains a positive attitude with her patients, who are often facing unforeseen challenges.
“One of the moments that sticks out in my mind is receiving a letter from a family detailing how the hard work of our Ohio State team saved someone’s life and led to the best possible outcome,” she says. “To hear that this family was thriving brought an unimaginable sense of joy.”
